Dr. Wes Allen, Lois Craddock Perkins Professor of Homiletics at Perkins School of Theology, will guide participants through themes and strategies for preaching in Advent, focusing on the Gospel of Mark.
Dr. Allen, , a popular preacher, teacher and workshop leader, is the author of several books on preaching, as well as biblical commentaries for preaching. He is currently at work on a commentary on the Gospel of Mark to be published by Westminster John Knox Press.
